Portugal South Coast - Lisbon to Spanish Border

The bridge we would take when we leave Lisbon has an even larger monument nearby with a large statue of Jesus with arms outstretched, called Cristo-Rei. If you look at the size of the cars crossing the bridge you can gauge how big it is. The pedestal is 75m high and the statue of Christ is 28m tall. We thought it better to get a photo from this side of the river to fit it all in.
